Mini diabolos are not for the beginner as diabolos are fly-wheels, which basically means the larger the diabolo the longer it will spin for and the more stable it is; hence, these diabolos are very good for high throws, ideal to fit into your pocket, but harder to use.
Probably well over 90% of all the world's top diabolists end up using this size due to their added stability and momentum. Being a little bit heavier than the smaller diabolo models makes suicides and genocides much easier to master.
By far the easiest of all diabolos. They have a one-way ball-bearing system, meaning the string doesn't snag and lasts much longer, the diabolo spins over 400% longer than the standard model. Not recommended for high throws, but a brilliant toy if you're careful (however, if they do break, they are easily fixed).
Yes, they are easier to use than smaller diabolos, but body moves are difficult and they are a little more tiring to operate. Nevertheless, they are ideal for performing in front of a large audience from a distance.
