Southend was the perfect setting for BJC 2012 – just the right amount of seaside glamour and hospitality to keep everyone happy. Thanks go to all the Essex residents for tolerating the enormous influx of jugglers, hoopers, poi spinners and general oddballs whose wonderful bizarreness make BJC such a special event. Each day (and night) seemed to be packed. You didn’t have to walk far to find the British Kendama Open, workshops in every imaginable prop, renegade shows or incredible stalls. Personal highlights for us include some late night club passing with Gora, tandem mini-bikes, more German Wheels in one place than we’ve ever seen and the 25th year award show (well done everyone that received an award). Congratulations also go to this year’s BYJOTY winner – That 5 club flash whilst unicycling was one of the most impressive things we’ve seen in quite a while, but personally we preferred the unicycle-meets-breakfast-cereal stunts performed at the renegade show. The Juggle Dream Uglies proved themselves to be prop of the convention at the Oddballs Stand, with everyone trying their hand at some WJF-style numbers juggling. There were plenty of other fun, new things to play with like Isolation Bars and Concept Diabolos. Donald Grant was an ace compere on the Saturday night, with a line up that is going to be hard to beat next year. Public Show highlights included a flawless Gandini LED show, the weird but hilarious Matthias Romir and our personal favourite Tony Pezzo with his beautiful yet totally tech ring juggling. The fact that he’s so young and so accomplished set the tone for the whole BJC this year. Each day we felt inspired (and perhaps, dare we say, intimidated) by the amount of seriously young jugglers pulling off tricks we’ve only ever dreamt about. As well as being an important event on every juggler’s social calendar and a great excuse to spend all day juggling, BJC proved itself vital for nurturing and encouraging young jugglers to keep pushing themselves whilst giving all the old faces a run for their money.
What more to say than roll on EJC 2012

Hello again friends, we hope you all had as wonderful a Christmas and New Years as we did! 2012 is destined to be the year of the juggler, so lets get straight down to whats new, shall we? For a little while now the new Juggle Dream Cyclone Quartz has been on our website, and we couldn’t be happier with it. The next generation from the original triple bearing Juggle Dream Cyclone, this little beauty has a 20mm axle which makes finger grinds and passes a doddle. The internal ball bearings allows for a much longer spin time than the standard diabolo – up to 20 times longer! It’s hard, translucent cups make for a stable spin, and when combined with Juggle Dream LED kits looks simply stunning (if we do say so ourselves). At only £17.99 we cannot recommend this diabolo highly enough. Why not check it out?

Some you may be aware of and some you may not. However, I should feel I should mention that it is NEVER too early to get your Christmas shopping in. We all remember the rush of last year and nobody wants a disappointed face on Christmas Day.
So down to the props! From our friends at Play we have some rather lovely new Sil-X Implosion balls, just like the old ones but in 68mm and 100mm. Good for both juggling and Contact. We also have a new range of Sport juggling balls called the Ugly (by name but not by nature!) These little beauties are a real winner for Siteswap enthusiasts, especially fans of Garfield or Dietz. Another Juggle Dream prop is our new Fire Devil stick – Just as strong and sturdy as it’s more expensive counter parts, but they come with free hand sticks! Finally we have an addition to our Nils Poll range, a new colour way of orange and brown.

Hello all,

Well haven’t we been a little slack? It must have been the Summer and all our new, lovely products that distracted us from blogging duties. Well the nights are getting shorter and we’re focusing our eyes on that big Christmas shaped form in the future…and we’re pretty sure that we know what’s going to be hot already this Winter. We’re excited to have our Lunar-Spin diabolos back in stock for sure. These LED, night-friendly diabolos diffuse light beautifully and tick all the boxes as far as performance and price goes. We’re also happy to unveil the new Hurricane diabolo from Juggle Dream. Juggle Dream have become one of the freshest and most innovative prop and skill toy designers in the last few years and the Hurricane is set to become one of your new favourites. It is a large sized diabolo, with slick, glossy cups and a seriously smooth triple ball bearing centre. This has been built for long grinds, infinte suicides and optimum performance. We’re also stocking a bundle of new unicycles from Qu-Ax (trust us, they’re all beasts!) and are set to have a new range of Sunrise Kendamas hitting our virtual shelves any day now. Couple that with new Pulsar fire torches and we’re sure you’ll agree that we’ve got it covered for the next few months

We can’t wait to introduce to you our brand-shining-new clubs; the Juggle Dream Euro Classic Juggling Club! An Entry Level club, this little beauty has a mirrored euro deco, heavy duty rubber knobs and heads, and flips a medium spin. They’re also a sweet club to juggle due to their flat knobs – a flat knob makes for better balancing. We’ve also now got in stock the quirky Monster Feet, green ‘monster foot’ styled 12cm high stilts, perfect for your little monsters (or the little monster in you)! We’ve also boosted our ‘Big Top’ diabolo range, bringing back blue and orange into the fray, and we’re bringing back the ever-popular Duncan Pulse yo-yo. Finally, you’ll all want to be watching this space for a whole cacophony of new delights; the new Play Rolla Bolla, the Mr. Babache Devil stick, Play plates and Play Junior rings! But that’s for another time.
