This kit reduces the weight from 277g to 250g. It improves the weight distrubution making the diabolo spin longer and faster.
The material used (polyamid) and improved hub shape have many advantages over the original hubs allowing longer and smoother finger/stick grinds, reducing string discolouration and dramatically increasing string life.
